all of a sudden its the summer time

i cant stop listening to telekinesis!

and that tune gets me thunkin about some summer planz

there are two roads open for me:

1) attend risd pre-college 2009 to major in printmaking
most all know this is a dream i've had since i was maybe 11 or 12, but it probably won't happen this year. obviously i have no idea what the application reviewers will decide, but because of weird financial situations in my family i probably won't be able to get a scholarship, thus go to the east coast. but thats okay because

2) i can do a lot of things in seattle this summer
i realized theres a window between the time i'm a senior and freshman in college where finally things open up work-wise but theres still not as much pressure to make real money, so i can explore things more freeeeeeeeleeeee...
this is a list of things i plan to accomplish
take printmaking classes at pratt to make up for what i would get at risd
contact some dessert caterers to work for
find a design internship
hike a lot (mt ranier on my birthday)
my birthday: it will last an entire week, last week of summer
take astrology classes
go to capitol hill block party (sonic youth)
camping
visit kansas city for the first time in 2 years?
attend nike tennis camp which is now at seattle u
road trip with friends
road trip with family
swim in the lake, every week
screenprint, maybe make my own line of something
start my collection of cupcake liners that my mom and i are going to develop and sell to retailers and bakeries...seriously

so many options
i almost want to stay home now. i'll get risd next year. and the next four years after that.
